5. Felicity Huffman

Simple and elegant, two words to sum it up. Felicity Huffman wore a really simple halter neck dress with a bit of a train. It’s a great colour and it saved the dress from a potential blah.

In spite of the loud colour, the dress did not draw away attention from Felicity Huffman’s beautiful strawberry blonde hair. I think the ensemble is a success!

4. Kimora Lee

Kimora Lee wore a royal purple coloured dress with a lot of layers but the layers were just enough to make the dress interesting without making voluptuous Kimora Lee looked too chubby.

The dress looks quite conservative from the front but opens at the back, a nice little surprise. My only complain is that Kimora Lee wore her hair down, and her hair overshadowed the back of the dress.

3. Marcia Cross

Many stars were taking a note from the past when it comes to their dressing at the 59th Annual Emmy Awards and Marcia Cross is one of them.

She wore a 70s inspired with starburst design dress that really complimented her pale skin and red hair. The mother of twins looks sexy but not vulgar.

2. America Ferrera

America Ferrera is a curvaceous woman and she has played this feature of herself to the fullest advantage.

Unlike her character Betty, she’s appeared in a dress that’s body hugging without highlighting the folds. The detail in the middle of the dress gave her a waist too. And that colour, oh that colour is fabulous!

1. Vanessa Williams

Vanessa Williams’ dress is the most interesting of the night I’ve seen. She was bold in her choice, as the feathers could either break of make it. In this case, they’ve certainly made it.

I love how the designer has managed to incorporate feathers without skanking the dress up. The feathers look like a bird just flew by and brushed Vanessa Williams.
