This is the billboard that has caused uneasiness among the people who have seen it.
It’s the latest attempt to shake the fashion industry into doing something about anorexia illness that is so rampant among models and young women.
This is the latest shock image to jolt the fashion industry into action over the problem of anorexia.
The picture of emaciated Isabelle Caro, 27, an anorexic who weighs just 31 kilos (4 stone, 12lb), has been displayed on Milan billboards as the city celebrates its fashion week.
Caro, who is French and has her own blog site, said that she had suffered from anorexia since she was 13 as the result of a “difficult childhood”.
I agree that the current fashion industry has more or less caused anorexia to be so common among today’s young women, even men.
I don’t think the billboard will be able to do much.
The anorexics themselves might even use the picture as “thinspirations” but hopefully their healthy family members will be shaken enough to do something to help their sick loved ones.

Anorexia will constantly persist,
It is up to the individual to battle it themselves But not for others to judge them.
this “billboards” somehow “alienize” them to be some sort disease, make as if they are less then human. The creator of this campaign has good intention but has no depth.
I am very confident that the creator is not an anorexia sufferer.
