The star of 24 was busted for DUI in Hollywood and posted a bail of $25,000 to be released. Disgusting, right?
“He was arrested for the misdemeanor DUI (driving under the influence) after he blew more than the legal limit of .08,” said the spokeswoman.
She said Sutherland, 40, was taken to Hollywood police station where he posted $25,000 bail and was released. He will appear in court on October 16.
Sutherland plays Jack Bauer, a member of a Los Angeles anti-terrorism unit, in the popular Fox Network series.
I wonder when is the value of bail to be adjusted according to one’s per annum income.
That would keep the rich and famous from committing so many crimes.
