Katie Holmes must be so excited for her first Broadway experience and of course, escaping temporarily from the grasp of her Xenu worshipping husband, Tom Cruise.
But on her debut day, a bunch of guys in Guy Fawkes masks ala V For Vendetta decided to stage a protest against Scientology. Some of them even called for the release of Katie Holmes.
Tom Cruise did appear though despite of the hostility outside.
Meanwhile, it almost looked like hubby Tom Cruise was going to miss Katie’s big show, but moments before the curtain went up, he magically appeared in the theater — much to the delight of fellow theatergoers.
Can’t say the same for the people waiting outside, however!
